Applications are invited from candidates with the required educational qualification and professional ability for appointment to the following temporary posts under the ongoing project "Development of Command Area under Jalalpur Irrigation Project" with the cooperation of the Asian Development Bank under the Irrigation Improvement Wing of the Agriculture Department by February 27, 2026. (1). This recruitment will initially be for one year according to the Government of Punjab's Contract Policy 2004, which can be extended until the completion of the project based on performance.
(2). Age relaxation will be given under the prevailing government rules.
(3). The contract can be canceled at any time by paying one month's salary or giving one month's notice without assigning any reason. Similarly, in case of leaving the job, it will be mandatory to give one month's salary or one month's prior written notice.
(4). Employees recruited on a contract basis will not be entitled to pension, provident fund, and GP fund, nor will any deduction be made from their salary in this regard.
(5). Employees recruited on a contract basis will not have any right to permanent employment for this or any other post. Furthermore, they will not be entitled to seniority due to this appointment.
(6). Attested copies of degrees, certificates, computerized identity card, and domicile certificate from a gazetted officer and two fresh attested photographs should be attached with the applications.
(7). Employees of government and semi-government organizations should send applications through their offices.
(8). A separate notification will be given for the test/interview. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates coming for the test/interview, and they will have to present original documents on the day of the interview.
(9). The selection of candidates will be made according to the Government of Punjab's recruitment policy issued on 09-03-2022.
(10). It is mandatory for the candidates to have a domicile of Punjab.
(11). Applications will only be received by mail.
(12). In case of receipt of more applications, short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
(13). The number of posts can be increased or decreased.
(14). Applications written on plain paper by interested individuals should reach the office of the Director General Agriculture (Irrigation Improvement), 21-Davis Road, Lahore by the due date during office hours.
