Requisite Qualifications and Description:

• Candidates must hold a medical degree and currently be in a valid medical faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor or higher.
• They must be a registered CPSP (College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan) supervisor.
• Assessment will be based on scholarly activity, publications, teaching quality, experience, leadership, management skills, and professional integrity.
• The role is honorary, providing leadership and administrative experience.
• Institutional-based practice is mandatory for clinical department positions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Administration of scholarly and research activities.
• Membership in the academic council.
• Development of research and teaching activities.
• Engagement in patient care in the relevant specialty.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Salary will correspond with the appropriate faculty position if selected from outside MTI Mardan.
2. The position is tenure-based, initially for three years, extendable for two more terms.
3. Service will be governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Act, 2015 (as amended), and MTI regulations.
4. In-service employees must apply through the proper channel.
5. Appointees must submit a resignation from any existing employment.
6. The authority can alter or cancel positions.
