APPOINTMENT OF PART TIME LEGAL ADVISOR
Applications are Invited from highly skilled, motivated and dynamic professionals with sound health having domicile of Punjab (Pakistan) for appointment (on part time basis) as Legal Advisor in Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, DG Khan to appear in courts of law in all types of Legal proceedings including the matters of taxation on behalf of the Board and to tender legal advice as and when required in connection with legal and tax matters. Terms & Conditions:
i. Legal Advisor, appointed on part time basis in BISE, DG Khan shall be governed under the instructions of Govt. of the Punjab, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, issued vide Memo No.Gen:2-1/2008/1941 dated 14.05.2011, directions of this Board and terms and conditions as laid down in the instructions ibid or as may be amended form time to time.
ii. This appointment shall be subject to final approval by the Govt. of the Punjab, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department. However, preference will be given to those aspirants who possess relevant experience of BISEs of the Punjab.
iii. Remuneration / Retainership alongwith contingencies for Legal Advisor will be as under:
a) Retainership: Rs.40,000/- per month lump sum.
b) Contingency:
i. Lower Court: Rs.13000/- per case including contingent charges for Civil Courts at DG Khan.
ii. High Court: Rs.15,000/- per case.
c) TA/DA will be admissible equal to BPS-18 if required under special cases with prior approval of the Chairman.
iv. The selected Legal Advisor will be offered part time appointment (purely on temporary basis) at a remuneration which may be lesser than the maximum remuneration offered. The appointee shall not claim regularization of his services against the post appointed for in any case.
v. Tenure will be of two (02) years extendable on satisfactory performance. However, this appointment shall liable to be revoked at any stage by serving one month notice from either side.
vi. The Legal advisor so appointed shall be bound to protect the interest of BISE, DG Khan. The appointee will not appear in any court of law in a matter detrimental to the interest of BISE, DG Khan nor represent any office / agency or matter against the BISE, DG Khan.
vii. The selected candidate will not be provided office, staff, law books, vehicle, telephone and any other such facility.
viii. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained. Applications of the interested candidates complete in all aspect (hardcopy) should reach in the office of the Secretary, BISE, Dera Ghazi Khan till 15.09.2025 before closing hours.
ix. Only short listed candidate will be called for Interview.
x. The Board reserves the right not to fill any position without assigning any reason at any stage.
xi. No TA/DA will be admissible for the journey performed for the test/interview as the case may be.
