APPOINTMENT OF PROJECT DIRECTOR (PPS-9)
The Government of Balochistan, Communications, Works, Physical Planning & Housing Department invites applications from dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professionals for appointment as Project Director (PPS-9) on contract basis for the project “Construction of Black Top Northern Bypass Road Loralai (15.50 KM) Project”.

| Experience | Minimum 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure development with demonstrable experience in project management/implementation or relevant field, particularly in public sector's project planning and management processes and procedures. Must have knowledge of Project Life Cycle. |
| Age Limit | Maximum 62 years on the closing date of application |
| Tenure of Contract | Initially for two (02) years, extendable on yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of the project on the recommendation of Sponsoring Department |
| Salary Package | As per PPS-9, in accordance with Finance Division (Regulation Wing) letter No. F-4(9)R-14/2008 dated 18th April, 2022 and Project Director's Policy Notification No. P&D-JCE(S.S)1-7/2023/8813 dated 19th October 2023 issued by GoB, P&D Department |
| Terms of Reference (ToRs) | The Project Director shall ensure effective monitoring to prevent time and cost overruns, establish procedures for progress review, identify risks with mitigation plans, and submit prescribed reports with actionable recommendations. He/she will work harmoniously with stakeholders, maintain custody of project documents, prepare PC-1 to IV reports, and provide timely information on prescribed proformas. The PD will be accountable for all administrative, functional, and financial decisions, supervise project activities, resolve day-to-day issues within delegated powers, and seek assistance from relevant authorities when required. |
