Advertisement for Temporary Watchmen (Contingent Paid Staff)

Applications will be accepted for vacant posts of daily wage watchmen at various centers in Jhang district for 89 days purely on a temporary basis. Healthy individuals are required for this purpose. Interested candidates can submit their applications along with two photographs, domicile, and two copies of their computerized national identity card during office hours until 29-01-2026 at the office of the District Food Controller Jhang. Applications received after the last date will not be acceptable.
Terms and Conditions
- A daily wage watchman will not have the right to litigate for permanent employment in any court.
- Orders for temporary watchmen will be issued for 89 days.
- It is mandatory to include copies of photographs, domicile, and computerized national identity card with the application.
- The number of watchmen will be determined according to the formula of the Finance Department (letter no. F&C(Food)1-10/2010 dated 24.03.2015) based on the stock of wheat available at the center.
- During the engagement period of 89 days, if the wheat stock decreases or runs out due to supply or issuance to flour mills, the number of watchmen will be immediately reduced according to the Finance Department formula.
- The last date for submitting applications will be 29-01-2026.
- Scrutiny of the received applications will be completed by 30-01-2026.
- The designated committee will interview the candidates on 31-01-2026.
- The list of successful candidates will be displayed on the notice board of this office on 31-01-2026.
- No TA/DA will be given to candidates appearing for the interview.
- Due to unavoidable reasons, the competent authority will have the power to cancel the engagement orders, and the cancellation orders cannot be challenged in any court.
