Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree from any recognized university.
- Selected candidates must obtain mandatory in-service training from government institutions DPD/RPDC within 9 months after selection and appointment.

- For a 4-year BS degree, the distribution of 35 marks will be as follows: (Marks Obtained / Total Marks) x 35, with 20 marks for BA/BSc and 15 for MA/MSc. In the case of a professional MA in Education, the distribution of marks will be as follows:
- In the case of a 12-year M.A. Education degree or a 4-year BS Education degree, 20 marks will be calculated as follows: (Marks Obtained / Total Marks) x 20, with 15 marks for B.Ed and 15 marks for M.Ed.
General Conditions
- The test conducted for recruitment will be phased, and the procedure will be at the sole discretion of ETEA.
- A separate test will be conducted at the district level for each position, and the marks obtained in the ETEA test and academic qualifications will be added. The merit list of primary school teachers will be prepared based on this.
- It is mandatory to obtain 50% passing marks in the ETEA test for eligibility.
- Conversion of CGPA to marks is mandatory; the university's controller of examinations must verify the percentage of marks.
- For disabled persons, minorities, and transgender individuals, the allocated 2%, 5%, and 0.5% quota will be applicable, respectively. Disabled persons must submit a certificate from a standing medical board, provided the disability does not hinder the performance of duties.
- Candidates must bring their original educational documents along with their original ID card.
- The selection process will be subject to change if the government modifies the recruitment procedure.
- Government employees must apply through the proper channels.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
- No TA/DA (travel allowance/daily allowance) will be given for the test/interview.
- Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be entertained.
- Age relaxation will be according to government policy.
- The decision of the recruitment committee will be final.
- Candidates with foreign degrees must submit an equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- At the time of the interview, candidates must present all original documents.
- Candidates can apply for more than one post separately.
- Recruitment will be in accordance with the policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued on 17-03-2025.
- Candidates who have been blacklisted or dismissed from any government institution are not eligible to apply.
- If the required number of candidates for minorities and disabled quotas are not available, the posts will be filled on merit.
- In case of any ambiguity, the interpretation of the rules by the Elementary and Secondary Education Department will be final.
- Employees of project-based positions under the Elementary and Secondary Education Department (appointed according to the 1973 policy and regularized in 2022) are also eligible to apply.
- The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
