Position Energy Expert (Renewable Energy)
Duration: 2 Years (Contract Basis)
Location: Quetta
Remuneration: Negotiable
Age Limit: Up to 62 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate investor-submitted feasibility studies for renewable energy projects.
- Conduct impact assessment of solarization initiatives undertaken through PSDP, donor-funded, or federal/provincial programs.
- Design and supervise surveys for renewable energy potential and institutional development planning.
- Prepare a long-term renewable energy investment roadmap for Balochistan.
- Explore frameworks for inter-provincial and international renewable energy export.
- Provide advisory support for policy alignment and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and build institutional capacity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Advanced degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Economics.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in renewable energy project development, feasibility analysis, or sector policy.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (ARE Policy 2019, NEPRA, CPPA-G).
- Proven record of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and technical reporting.
