Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Unmarried male citizens of Pakistan.
- Age: Maximum 20 years old as of December 31, 2026. (Candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir have a 1-year age relaxation up to 21 years).
- Educational Qualification:
- HSSC (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent with at least 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Candidates awaiting Part-II results can apply with a "Hope Certificate" from their college.
- O/A Level students must provide an Equivalency Certificate.

Training & Degree
- 2 years of residential training at the Academy in Karachi.
- An Associate Degree in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering is awarded by NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, upon completion.
Ineligibility
Individuals who have been dismissed from government service, convicted of a crime, or declared medically unfit by a military or designated hospital are ineligible.
