Reference: Approved by Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab vide Letter No. (SP&C-5/2023 (Misc) dated June 10, 2025, and instructions vide Letter No. (EP&C2-2) (11) 2016 dated January 27, 2025. District Health Authority, Health & Population Department Rawalpindi requires healthy, fit, and eligible candidates for the recruitment of Entomologists (Male & Female) on a purely temporary (Contingent Paid) basis for a maximum of 90 days for emergency work related to dengue prevention in high-risk union councils and tehsils of Rawalpindi District. MSc Agriculture (Entomology) / BSc (Hons) Agriculture (Entomology) Second Division from any HEC recognized institution. Note: If candidates with the required qualification are not available, candidates with MSc / BSc (Hons) in Zoology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Health, Agriculture (Entomology) or Medical Technology Second Division from any HEC recognized institution will be considered.

Terms and Conditions:
- The said recruitment will be purely temporary, and no candidate, if recruited, will claim conversion to contract or regular employment on any forum, nor will the recruited candidate be entitled to any age relaxation based on experience for daily wages.
- The recruitment period will be a maximum of 89 days, and the first day of recruitment will be considered from the date mentioned in the order. The number of advertised positions/posts can be amended without prior notice, and applications for any position can be rejected without assigning any reason. The recruitment process may be re-conducted by the authority instead of further extension.
- Age will be determined from the last date of application submission. Duty can be assigned in any tehsil or union council of Rawalpindi District.
- Applicants who have performed well in the Dengue Program will be given preference.
- Applicants must have an Android mobile phone and be able to operate it.
- Daily and monthly wages will be as per Government rules. This position is non-transferable, and other terms and conditions will be as per Government rules and regulations after appointment, as mentioned in the appointment order.
- The said recruitment is purely on a Contingent Paid basis. In case of absence or poor performance, employment will be terminated immediately without notice.
- Only candidates holding domicile of Punjab Province will be recruited on merit. However, domiciled candidates of Rawalpindi District will be given preference. In case of unavailability, candidates from other districts of Punjab will be considered.
- Eligible candidates should submit their application on plain paper along with attested copies of educational certificates, detailed mark sheets of obtained marks, experience certificates, domicile, and NADRA issued computerized national identity card.
- Candidates are required to undergo a medical examination at their own expense.
- Applications should reach the office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority, Health & Population Department, Rawalpindi, by July 16, 2025, during office hours.
- Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held on July 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the office of the Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority, Health & Population Department, Rawalpindi.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
- The authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
