Eligibility Requirements for Excise Constable

• For Male Candidates: Minimum height 5 feet 6 inches, chest 32x33.5 inches.
• For Female Candidates: Minimum height 5 feet 2 inches.
• Physical Test: Male candidates must run 1.5 km in 10 minutes. Female candidates must walk 1.5 km in 12 minutes.

Note:

• After selection, candidates will be required to deposit a fee of Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable) in the PTCL TC account.
• Candidates will undergo a written, physical, and interview test.
• Candidates must provide an affidavit stating they have no F.I.R. registered against them in any police station. Providing a false affidavit will result in disqualification and legal action.
• Only eligible candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the tests/interviews.
• The recruitment process will be conducted according to the rules and regulations of the Government of Balochistan.
• Government/semi-government employees must apply through proper channels and provide an NOC.
• Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate application forms for each post.
• The authority reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be issued call letters.
• The upper age limit for the post of Clerk is 43 years, as per the Government of Balochistan policy.

General Instructions

• Candidates must bring their original CNIC and educational documents at the time of test/interview.
• The last date to apply is 20 November 2025.
• Applications must be submitted to the Directorate General Excise & Taxation Balochistan.
• If any stage of the recruitment process is found to be fraudulent, the candidate will be disqualified.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates who hold a local/domicile certificate of Balochistan to fill the following posts in the Directorate General Excise Taxation & Anti-Narcotics, North Zone Quetta:

Eligibility Guidelines for Excise Inspector

Race (Run)
For Male Candidates: 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
For Female Candidates: 1.6 km run to be completed in 9 minutes.

Note: After recruitment, 7 months of mandatory basic training must be completed at PTC/LTC. Candidates' height, chest measurement, run, written test, and interview will be taken. Candidates must submit an affidavit stating that they are not nominated or involved in any FIR (First Information Report). In case of submitting a false affidavit, the candidate will be declared ineligible for recruitment in the Excise Taxation & Anti-Narcotics Department, and legal action will be taken. Only those candidates whose applications are found complete will be eligible for physical measurement. Candidates will not be paid any expenses incurred during the different stages of selection. Height, chest measurement, run, and written test will be held at the relevant test center designated by the department.

Terms & Conditions:

• Women and minority quotas will be according to the Government of Balochistan policy.
• Candidates from government/semi-government institutions must apply through the proper channel and present an NOC at the time of the interview.
• If applying for more than one post, it is mandatory for the candidate to submit a separate application form for each post.
• The competent authority reserves the right to cancel any recruitment process or increase/decrease the number of vacant posts.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• Age limit laws will apply. Hence, the upper age limit is 30 years, and no relaxation will be given.

General Instructions for Candidates

Submit the complete application form along with attested local certificate/educational documents, etc., 03 colored photographs/copy of CNIC to the Excise Directorate, Model Town Quetta by December 11, 2025. If at any stage during the verification of the candidate's educational documents, domicile, CNIC, and medical certificate, the documents are found to be fake or unverified, the candidate's appointment will be canceled.
