Position
How to Apply?
- Not be more than sixty (60) years of age on the last date fixed for the submission of application. Have earned a Ph.D. in the field of Economics/Engineering/Management/Public Administration from a reputed HEC recognized University.
- Preference will be given to the PhDs from one of the top 100 universities in the QS Ranking.
- Have at least 18 years of teaching/research experience in any HEC-recognized University/Technical and Vocational Institute in total.
- 10 years of administrative experience (after completion of PhD) of working in a senior academic, research and management and leadership positions, including chairperson, dean, director, pro-VC/VC with a record of impressive responsibility and authority in any recognized Technical and Vocational Institute/ University.
- Have excellent research publication record that, at a minimum, meet the criteria for appointment as a Professor in the University with minimum of 20 peer reviewed HEC recognized publications.
- Preference would be given to Journals indexed in the HRJS system of HEC (https://hjrs.gov.pk).
- Terms of Appointment and Salary
- The Executive Director shall be appointed for a term of four years and serves at the pleasure of the Gwadar Port Authority Board. The incumbent will be entitled for the BPS salary of grade 20/21, or as specified by the Selection Board or the Board of Gwadar Port Authority.

- Short-listing of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by PCTVI/GPA.
- The PCTVI/PGA reserves the right not to fill/withdraw advertised post/ withheld appointment against the post for reasons to be recorded. For the Candidate(s) who make to the interview stage, no TA/DA or compensation shall be provided.
