Recruitment of Union Council Immunization Officers (UCIOs)
Under the EPI-PEF project series, to increase the vaccination rate among eligible population groups in Pakistan and eliminate polio, the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) Sindh is recruiting for contractual posts of Union Council Immunization Officers (UCIOs) (male/female).

Required Educational Qualification and Experience:
- BSc (Bachelor of Science in Public Health)
- BSc (Bachelor of Science in Bio Medical Sciences)
- BSc (Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion)
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Master's degree in Public Health.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in public health, immunization programs, or community mental health initiatives.
- 2-4 years of field experience in public health initiatives or programs, especially in Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) or immunization campaigns like Polio (PV/OPV), Measles Rubella (MR), IPV, and TCV. Experience in international contractual assignments is preferred.
Nature and Duration of Contract:
- The contract is purely temporary and renewable subject to performance and program needs (and availability of funds).
- UCIOs recruitment will be on a purely contractual basis and no regularization will be made for these individuals.
- Place of employment will be the concerned Union Council/District.
- It is a full-time field job.
- RI activities and SIAs will be the primary responsibilities.
- Salary: PKR 70,000 per month plus PKR 10,000 monthly allowance for fuel/data.

- Candidates can select their preferred test center (Karachi, Hyderabad, or Gharo) when submitting the application. The test will be conducted in a computer-based format at the SZABIST campus.
- These posts are purely contractual. Candidates with 1-2 years of field experience in public health initiatives or community mental health initiatives will be given preference.
- The last date to submit the online application is fifteen (15) days after the date of advertisement.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and SMS.
