Hec Undergraduate Scholarships For Students Balochistan FATA

Applications are invited from the outstanding students of Balochistan and Erstwhile FATA who intend to pursue undergraduate studies in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognised Public/Private sector Universities/Degree Awarding Institutions of Pakistan. Scholarships are being offered for the academic year 2024-25 in all areas of studies/disciplines under the project entitled "Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for Students of Balochistan & erstwhile FATA (Phase-III)", Batch-III.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicant's age made than or equal to 22 years on closing date of advisement.
2. Applicants must have the own and father's valid domicile or local certificate of Balochistan while FATA.
3. Applicants must have completed 12 years of education with at 60% marks in FA,FSC, ICOM, ICS, DAE.
4. Applicants already availing any other HEC or government scholarship are NOT eligible to apply.
5. Applicants must have acquired the requisite academic qualifications on or before the closing date of the advertisement.
6. Students awaiting results are NOT eligible to apply.

Important Note

1. Scholarships will be awarded based on Merit and District Quota.
2. Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of Aptitude Test score (conducted by Education Testing Council (ETC) - HEC) and upon evaluation of Academic Credentials.
3. Applicants must secure at least 50% marks in the test.
4. The scholarship and reserve seats distribution ratio for the applicants of Balochistan & Erstwhile FATA is 50:50. Placements on reserved seats will be on open merit within the selected scholars only. PM&DC eligibility criteria, regulations and rules will also be applicable.
5. Those who are already enroled in Medical/Dental Colleges and Engineering Programmes will NOT be considered against the reserved seats but shall be considered for offer of scholarships, if on Merit.
6. Students already enrolled in any general cadre bachelor's programme may also apply for scholarship.

8. All applicants MUST apply using their own CNIC or Juvenile Card issued by NADRA.
9. Applications received with any other CNIC will lead to application rejection. If any applicant is under 18, the applicant must apply using NADRA verified Juvenile Card.
10. To participate in the test, all applicants MUST present their own original CNIC or Juvenile Card. No alternate identification will be accepted.
11. If the documents of any applicant found misleading/malafide/forged /fake/tampered or information provided found false, applicant's application process shall be terminated.

How to Apply

1. ​Applicants are required to submit their applications online through the HEC website at ​https://scholarships.hec.gov.pk ​Ensure that a duly attested copy of the CNIC, applicant’s and father/guardian’s domicile / local Certificate (duly attested by the district administration), and educational documents (duly attested by the respective boards) are uploaded.
2. Hard copy of applications and any other documents are not required at this stage.
3. Test fee of Rs. 500/- is to be deposited via 1Link 1Bill invoice participating Banks/ATM/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking.
4. To submit the fee, select 1Link 1bill Invoice payment service. Open/sign in into your mobile app and click on Bill payment or payment services (as your mobile banking app options). Click on 1Bill Invoice payment service and enter the consumer number generated by the HEC portal. Once you see the details, pay the amount. (The test fee is non refundable/non transferable).
5. After depositing the fee through 1Link 1Bill Invoice, click on “Verify Online Payment” on application form.
6. The applicant must submit the online application after completing the application form. Saved and Incomplete applications in any respect will NOT be considered.
7. The applicant should ensure that application has been submitted by clicking on “Submit Application / Verify Payment” & receival of acknowledgement.
8. HEC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scholarship process at any stage without assigning any reason.
