Position
- Legal Consultant Services
- Contract Basis: 6 months
- Responsibilities: Providing specialized legal services related to Genetic Resources and Associated Traditional Knowledge (GRATK), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Treaties, and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with national and international organizations.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- LLM in Intellectual Property Laws from a renowned international university.
- Five years of experience in Intellectual Property Laws, Traditional Knowledge, and Cultural Heritage Laws.
- Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive legal services and handle legal matters pertaining to international IP treaties.
- Registration with relevant regulatory bodies in Pakistan and compliance with national legal requirements.
- Application Process:
- Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes by 11:00 am within 15 days of the advertisement date.
- Bids will be opened at 11:30 am after 15 days of the advertisement date in the presence of bidders/representatives.
- The envelope should be labeled "PROPOSAL FOR LEGAL CONSULTANT SERVICES."
- Other Details:
- The hiring process can be canceled by IPO-Pakistan at any stage.
- Concealment of facts or direct/indirect pressure for hiring will disqualify candidates.
- The selection process follows a "Single Stage Two Envelope" procedure as per PPRA Rules.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
- No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for appearing in the interview.
