Career Opportunities: Company Secretary
IESCO is seeking a dynamic qualified professional for the position of Company Secretary.
1. Job Profile
- Reporting: Reports directly to the Board of Directors.
- Responsibilities: Maintains confidentiality of Board matters, ensures legal and regulatory compliance, and possesses strong knowledge of Corporate Governance Rules for Public Sector Companies.
- Skills: Requires strong business acumen, experience in senior management, and excellent writing skills for recording Board minutes and directions.
2. Qualification & Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Option A: Member of a recognized body of professional accountants with at least 3 years of experience as a Company Secretary in a reputable company.
- Option B: Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries with at least 3 years of experience as a Company Secretary in a reputable company.
- Option C: A Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Law (HEC recognized) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
3. Salary & Tenure
- Salary: Market-based competitive package.
- Tenure: Initial contract for 3 years (extendable based on performance).
- Age Limit: Maximum 60 years as of the application deadline.
