PPHI’s journey started from District Kashmore in 2007 and gradually expanded to 22 districts of Sindh. This responsibility was first handed over to the organization through Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) in 2007 under an MoU with the Government of Sindh (GoS). In 2013, the organization was converted into an independent company setup under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (repealed by the Companies Act, 2017) which signed a fresh MoU with (GoS).
