It is hereby informed that the Market Committee Fort Abbas requires work-charged or contingent paid staff for the financial year 2026-27. Applications are invited from eligible candidates possessing local domicile. The details of the vacancies are as follows:

Terms & Conditions

Work-charged contingent paid staff will be recruited according to the skill set framework defined in the Punjab Market Committees Rules 2021.

The recruitment is for work-charged daily wage posts (75 days) for the budget period of 2026, subject to approval from the Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab.

Recruitment will be done on a daily wages basis under the Work-Charged/Contingent Paid Staff Policy of the Government. This recruitment is temporary and does not grant any right to regular, permanent, or extension-based employment.

The work-charged contingent paid staff will be hired on an as-needed basis during the financial year.

Payment to work-charged contingent paid staff will be made as per rules and regulations and subject to budgetary provisions.

The work-charged contingent paid staff will only be eligible for daily wages for the days they perform official duties.

The competent authority reserves the right to cancel or reduce the number of work-charged contingent paid staff positions at any time.
