Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, is seeking qualified and highly motivated applicants for the positions of Nurse and Medical Technician for their activities in Dogra Hospital, Tehsil Bara Khyber District. Those from Khyber District (Tehsil Bara) are encouraged to apply.
Nurse
General Objectives:
Provide inpatient pediatric care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values, and universal hygiene standards to improve the health conditions of newborns and children.
Education:
Registered Nurse or BSN with valid Pakistan Nursing Council Registration is essential.
Experience:
Essential: experience working as a registered nurse in a hospital setting. Desirable: experience in neonatal care, good clinical skills, and strong interest in women's and newborn health, as well as previous work experience with MSF or other NGOs.
Languages:
Essential: English, Pashto, and Urdu.
Medical Technician
General Objectives:
Provide treatment to Cutaneous Leishmaniasis patients according to doctors' prescriptions and MSF protocols & guidelines, ensuring good quality care.
Education:
Recognized Medical Technician diploma and registration or Diploma in nursing and registration are essential.
Experience:
Essential: Previous experience working as a Medical Technician for at least 1 year. Desirable: experience in Cutaneous Leishmaniasis treatment, experience working as a registered nurse for at least 1 year, and demonstrable experience in training others in a team setting.
Languages:
Essential: Urdu and Pashto. Desirable: English.
