Positions

Qualifications

PhD degree from a HEC-recognized university/institution in a relevant research area in the humanities or social science; excellent record of teaching and research; normally at the level of Associate Professor or above; proficiency in English language; familiarity with culture, institutions and people of host country; proficiency in computer skills

Experience

Experience in mentoring, advocacy, communication, organizational (government/semi-government at senior level), budget management, research grants, diplomacy, media relations as spokespersons, and demonstrated involvement in academic staff associations; membership in professional or academic bodies; research leading to quality publications during tenure abroad is desirable

Pay Scale

Equivalent to BS-20 and BS-21 on the prescribed terms and conditions of the Government of Pakistan
