Available Positions
1. Professors (BPS-20)
Departments:
- Biochemistry
- Forensic Medicine
- Pathology (Hematology, Microbiology, and Chemical Pathology)
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC.
- Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., Ph.D., FCPS, M.Phil).
- A minimum of 8 years of teaching experience, including 3 years as an Associate Professor.
- At least 5 research publications in PMDC/PMC-recognized medical journals.
2. Associate Professors (BPS-19)
Departments:
- Community Medicine
- Pathology (Hematology and Microbiology)
- Surgery, Medicine, and other specialties
Requirements:
- MBBS with FCPS, MS, FRCS, or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualifications.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience, including research publications in recognized medical journals
3. Assistant Professors (BPS-18)
Departments:
- General Medicine
- Pulmonology
- Radiology
- Cardiology, and more
Requirements:
- MBBS with postgraduate degrees recognized by PMDC/PMC.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching or clinical experience in the relevant specialty.
- Research contributions are preferred.
4. Senior Registrars (BPS-18)
Specialties:
- General Surgery
- Pediatrics
- Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics, and others
Requirements:
- MBBS with FCPS, MS, or equivalent postgraduate qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the respective specialty.
5. Medical Officers (BPS-17)
Departments:
- General Clinical Departments
Requirements:
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Completed one-year house job.
- Registration with PMDC/PMC
General Provisions
- Documents Required:
- Two sets of attested copies of educational certificates (Matric, F.Sc., MBBS, etc.), testimonials, domicile, CNIC, photographs, and valid PMDC/PMC registration certificates.
- Important Notes:
- Experience certificates must be verified by the issuing authority.
- Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification will be considered.
- Candidates must attach copies of published research papers (if applicable).
- Age Relaxation:
- General age relaxation of 5 years for males and 8 years for females as per Punjab Government rules.
