Job Details: General Banking Officer (OG-III)

Reporting to: Branch Operations Manager
Place of Posting: Karachi and Kharian
Employment Type: 3-year contract (renewable based on performance/discretion)

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Minimum Graduation (or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference is given to candidates with a Master's degree or Islamic Banking certification/diploma.
Experience: Minimum 01 year of banking experience, including at least 06 months in Branch Operations.
Skills: Knowledge of SBP regulations, analytical and communication skills, customer handling, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities

Manage branch operational affairs, including regulatory compliance (KYC/AML) and Shariah compliance.
Ensure seamless account openings and transaction processing within stipulated turnaround times (TAT).
Monitor daily financial/non-financial transactions and maintain branch cash vaults.
Review and balance various accounts (vaults, taxes, remittance, etc.) and handle GL heads.
Manage ATM-related duties, inward/outward clearing, and customer complaints.
Maintain audit requirements and comprehensive records of daily operations.
