Position Overview
The CEO will oversee the management of the company's power generation operations, including strategic leadership, innovative measures for efficiency, robust governance, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of power plants.
- Developing and implementing an effective business plan aligned with government policies.
- Liaising with the Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, CPPA-G, and other stakeholders.
- Implementation of policy decisions from government bodies.
- Ensuring timely and efficient reporting to the Board of Directors.
- Overseeing operational expenditures.
- Identifying and mitigating financial, operational, and legal risks.
- Developing and executing efficient HR strategies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: Must possess a graduate degree from an HEC-recognized institute in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, or Engineering (registered with PEC), or be a recognized member of a body of professional accountants.
- Minimum Experience: At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience at a senior management level in well-known organizations, as a Chief Executive, or at a senior management level in similar commercial organizations.
- Age: Maximum 58 years on the closing date of application.
Terms and Application Process
- Term: Appointed on a performance-based contract for three (03) years, extendable at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
