Recruitment of Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) and Soldier in Pak Army
Registration and recruitment will be conducted from September 01 to November 23, 2025.
Eligibility / Requirement
- Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan (married or unmarried males).
- Education: Minimum Matriculation for Soldiers. Candidates from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and FATA with domicile are eligible with a minimum of Middle Pass. Preference will be given to candidates with higher education.
- Physical: Candidates must be physically and mentally fit.
- Age: For Soldiers (General Duty, Clerk, Cook, Military Police): 17 to 23 years as of May 01, 2025. For Naib Khateeb: 22 to 25 years. One year relaxation for graduates and above.
- Height:
- Soldier (General Duty, Tradesman, Technical): Minimum 5 ft 6 inches (167.5 cm)
- Clerk/Storeman: Minimum 5 ft 3 inches (160 cm)
- Military Police: Minimum 5 ft 8 inches (173 cm)
- Naib Khateeb: Minimum 5 ft 3 inches (160 cm)
- Education Qualification:
- Naib Khateeb: Minimum FA/FSc with Dars-e-Nizami (Sanad of Shahadat-ul-Almia from Wifaq-ul-Madaris). Fluent in Arabic and Urdu, and knowledge of religious affairs.
- Soldier (General Duty): Minimum Matric Pass. Candidates from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and FATA with domicile are eligible with Middle Pass.
- Soldier (Clerk): Minimum FA/FSc or equivalent. Preference for graduates. Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and knowledge of computer.
- Soldier (Cook): Minimum Middle Pass. Preference for higher education.
- Soldier (Military Police): Minimum Matric Pass.
- Soldier (Tradesman): Minimum Middle Pass for skilled tradesmen, Primary Pass for unskilled tradesmen.
Quota for Minorities:
- A special quota is reserved for minorities.
Required Documents:
- Original documents and attested photocopies.
- Original CNIC or B-Form.
- Attested photocopies of father's CNIC.
- 4 passport-size photographs.
- Domicile certificate.
Selection Procedure:
- Candidates will undergo various stages of selection.

Relaxations for Soldiers (Tradesmen):
- Age: One year relaxation for skilled tradesmen with one year of relevant experience.
- Height: One year relaxation for candidates from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and FATA.
- Education: One year relaxation for candidates from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and FATA.
Relaxations for Wards of Martyrs/Disabled during War:
- Age relaxation of two years.
- Height relaxation of one inch.
- Education relaxation of one grade.
Relaxations for Wards of Serving/Retired Army Personnel:
- Age relaxation of one year.
- Height relaxation of one inch.
- Education relaxation of one grade.
