Post: Associate Professor (Fashion Design) Number of Posts: ONE (01) Nature of Post: Purely on CONTRACT Basis as per PIFD Statutes Minimum Qualification & Experience: PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution OR Master's degree (foreign) or M.Phil (foreign) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution OR First professional degree(foreign) (4 years minimum or equivalent awarded after 16 years of education) in PIFD (PSFD/Fashion Design) or any other recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. Minimum Experience: a. Six years teaching/research experience in PIFD (PSFD/Fashion Design) HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. Note: After 30th June, 2015, at least four years post PhD level experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization is required. OR b. Five years post PhD level experience in PIFD (PSFD/Fashion Design) HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. OR c. Eight years teaching/research experience with at least four years' experience after the Master's degree or equivalent degree in PIFD (PSFD/Fashion Design) HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. OR d. Six years teaching/research experience in PIFD (PSFD/Fashion Design) HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. Minimum number of Publications/Achievements: Presentation of one publication campaign designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of Fashion and Design as specified in the research criteria.
