Request for Expressions of Interest (Individual Consultant Selection) - Software Engineer

Positions

Qualifications

At least a Bachelor's degree (preferably Master's) in one of the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Computational Science

Experience

At least 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in software engineering, systems integration and digital solution development; demonstrated experience in software architecture/enterprise application development and integration; experience in Linux operating systems, databases and server administration; experience in cloud computing, virtualization and containerized environments; experience in API development, middleware and enterprise interoperability; experience in software implementation, systems integration, quality assurance, technical testing or user-acceptance support for complex information systems; familiarity with data governance, information security, backup, disaster recovery and business-continuity arrangements; experience with scientific, meteorological, hydrological, environmental or other mission-critical operational information systems will be highly desirable; strong technical documentation
