• Foreman Mechanical/Electrical (BS-14)

• Assistant Foreman Mechanical/Electrical FIC (BS-12)

• Sub Engineer Mechanical/Electrical (BS-11)

• Mechanic Mechanical/Electrical (BS-09)

• Skilled Mechanical/Electrical (BS-06)

How to Apply?

• Only those candidates who have worked on the above category will be eligible for contract appointment.

• The selected candidates will receive their salary as per their last salary along with usual allowances admissible under the contract appointment rules.

• However, they will not be entitled to any allocation towards gratuity and pension.

• The contract period is one year which can be extended for another year if required by Pakistan Railways.

• The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application for contract appointment without assigning any reason.

• The number of vacancies can be changed without assigning any reason.

• The selected candidates will have to pass a medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital.

• Those who have compulsorily retired, removed, dismissed or retired on medical grounds will not be eligible for appointment.

• Call letters will be issued only to the candidates eligible for contract appointment.

• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview and medical examination.

• The selected candidates will be posted anywhere in the entire railway system.

• Required Documents Attested copies of the following necessary certificates and testimonials should be attached with the application.

• a. All educational certificates

• b. National Identity Card (Computerized)

• c. Railway Retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate

• d. Photocopy of PPO

• e. Photocopy of LPC

• f. Service Certificate

• g. Three (03) recent passport size photographs

• h. Three (03) postal envelopes (with RAD card) and complete address cell number, written on it should also be sent with the application.

• i. Experience Certificate from a reputed organization (for Sub Engineer Signal/BS-11)

• Application Submission Procedure: Typed application with complete bio-data will be acceptable.

• The last date for submission of application is 21.02.2025 at Chief Personnel Officer Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Lahore.
