Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a detailed assessment of the current infrastructure, equipment, and human resources required for setting up the Biomechanics Lab.
- Design a comprehensive implementation plan, including layout design, required repairs, and equipment procurement.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and calibration of biomechanics equipment and software, ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the lab's operations.
- Provide technical training for PSB staff on biomechanics tools, techniques, and data analysis.
- Design a sustainable operational model for the lab, covering maintenance, budgeting, and staffing.
- Submit progress and final reports with actionable recommendations for optimizing lab functionality.
- Design and operationalize the Biomechanics Lab to meet international standards.
- Oversee infrastructure renovations, equipment procurement, and installation.
- Train PSB staff on lab operations, equipment use, and data analysis.
- Develop SOPs and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Job Description:
- Position Title: Short-term Consultant - Bio-Mechanics Lab
- Reporting to: Director General, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB)

Eligibility Criteria:
i) Educational Qualification:
- PhD in Biomechanics, Sports Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 16 years education/Master's degree in the same fields with exceptional experience is acceptable.

ii) Experience:
- Experience in setting up and managing Biomechanics Labs.
- Demonstrated ability to work with advanced sports science tools and technology.
- Ideal candidate should have expertise and experience in understanding and running a sports science laboratory including state-of-the-art biomechanical laboratory and other latest worldwide technologies used in "Sports injury prevention" and "Sports Injury management".

iii) Skills:
- Strong expertise in biomechanics equipment, motion capture systems, and sports data analysis.
- Proven track record of training and mentoring staff.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
