• Applications are invited for the following vacancies at PIC-MTI, Peshawar purely on Contract basis as per the following conditions:

1.	Assistant Professor Neurology	Male/Female	—	Qualification & experience: * Applicant must have FCPS in Neurology or MRCP specialty training, or US Board Certification, CCT, or other equivalent qualifications in the relevant specialty recognized/registered by the PMDC.<br>* The eligibility criteria for the Positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor shall be followed as per Latest PMDC Rules and MTI Act 2015, Latest Rules and Regulations (Appendix 10) shall apply.<br>* (2 years of experience in the relevant field after receipt of the qualification/diploma as required, as well as two active published research papers (this is a PMDC requirement and subject to amendment by the PMDC)<br>References: * Applicants are required to submit at least 03 Reference letters/Testimonials with their Job Application form.<br>Preference: * Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques in the specialty and experience working with the complete state-of-the-art facilities in a modern reputable institution.
2.	Experiential Registrar Neurology	Male/Female	—	Qualification and Experience: * MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC<br>* Valid PMDC registration<br>* FCPS II Completed in respective specialty OR Diplomat American Board (MD) or fellowship from PMDC recognized institute in the respective specialty<br>* Experience in the relevant specialty in tertiary care hospital after postgraduate qualification will be preferred
3.	Medical Officer Neurology	Male/Female	Up to 40	Qualification: * MBBS or equivalent degree from university recognized by PMDC with valid registration and house job certificate<br>Experience: * At least 01-year post house job experience in the respective specialty is required in tertiary care hospital
4.	Speech Therapist	Male/Female	Up to 40	Qualification: * BS in Speech and Language Pathology from an HEC Recognized University/Institute<br>Experience: * At least 02 Years post qualification relevant clinical experience in a tertiary care hospital

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Job applications for the above positions should be submitted online by creating profile on PIC-MTI online job portal i.e., https://careers.pic.edu.pk. Applicant is required to register and update his/her profile along with all details i.e., personal information, qualification and experience etc. Job application without online apply will not be accepted.
2. After completion of the creating profile on Job Portal, the candidate is required to apply for the desired position available on the Portal. Once the Job application is complete, a filled Job Application Form will be sent to the applicant via registered email.
3. Applications accompanied with complete Job Application Form (received from Job Portal) along with Academic Credentials, Qualification, Experience, and CNIC photocopy duly attested with respective original bank deposit slip/bank draft must be received at below address through registered courier service, in the name of “Hospital Director, Peshawar Institute of Cardiology MTI”.

4. Candidates are advised to complete the online job application form with full diligence and concentration and verify all details before applying for job.
5. The services of the candidates will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical and Teaching Institution Reforms Act, 2015 including its amendments and Regulations of the institution.
6. Candidates should be eligible in all respects including qualification (Degree and Diploma), experience (only post-qualification experience will be considered which is duly issued by either the Administration/Human Resources or Establishment department of the institution concerned with proper references and date of issuance), age (calculated as on last day of the advertisement before the closing date of the advertisement.
7. The following applications will be subject to disqualification and will not be entertained:

a) Incomplete applications, Missing Job Application Form, Missing or irregular experience certificates as mentioned in serial 3, Missing Diploma or Degree as per requirement/criteria
b) Application received without processing fee shall not be entertained
c) Late submission of applications received after the due date
d) Candidates will be disqualified if found of any perjury in documentation/credentials at any stage of the process or employment.

g) For a qualification to be valid, a degree is a must, the mere submission of a marks sheet/Transcript/DMC/course completion certificate will lead to disqualification without any further intimation/notice to the applicant.

8. An application received after the closing time and date shall be automatically rejected.
9. Candidates already working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies etc. along with NOC from the concerned organization, clearly stating the length of service and other particulars. In case of appointment, the candidate will become a full time institutional employee and will have to resign from his/her previous position(s) from any other public/private sector after joining the Peshawar Institute of Cardiology-MTI, Peshawar.
10. Any attempt to approach or influence the selection committee will automatically disqualify the applicant; the decision of the selection committee will be final. Canvassing or lobbying for the post will lead to disqualification of candidate.
11. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
12. Original documents will be checked at the time of interview process will be entertained.
13. Candidates claiming age relaxation shall complete all the requirements and due process at the time of applying for the job.
14. No TA/DA will be admissible for test and interview.
15. The Institution reserves the right to decrease/increase the positions or revoke the hiring process at any stage without assigning any reason.
