Recruitment Details
- Position: Law Officer
- Total Positions: 01
- Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026): 25 to 40 years.
- Eligibility: Must have a Sindh domicile.
Job Specific Requirements
- Education: LLB/LLM from an HEC-recognized university or Barrister-at-Law (foreign degrees require HEC equivalence).
- Licensing: Enrolled with the Sindh Bar Council with a license to appear before High Courts.
- Experience: At least 3 years of standing practice independently pleading cases before a High Court.
- Skills:
- Fluent in English with expertise in legal drafting (Written Statements, CPLAs, etc.).
- Skilled in drafting/vetting agreements, contracts, and MOUs.
- Strong knowledge of the Constitution of Pakistan and general/procedural laws.
- Knowledge of court procedures and case management.
- Strong negotiation skills for dispute resolution/ADR.
- Note: Expertise in Federal and Provincial fiscal laws is an added advantage.
Terms and Conditions
- Nature of Job: Full-time, purely temporary contract for one year (extendable, but will not be regularized).
- Posting: Anywhere in Sindh, but primarily Karachi.
- Government Employees: Must apply through the proper channel.
- Selection: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the criteria will be called for tests/interviews.
- No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for interviews.
