Recruitment Details

• Position: Law Officer
• Total Positions: 01
• Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026): 25 to 40 years.
• Eligibility: Must have a Sindh domicile.

Job Specific Requirements

• Education: LLB/LLM from an HEC-recognized university or Barrister-at-Law (foreign degrees require HEC equivalence).
• Licensing: Enrolled with the Sindh Bar Council with a license to appear before High Courts.
• Experience: At least 3 years of standing practice independently pleading cases before a High Court.
• Skills:
  • Fluent in English with expertise in legal drafting (Written Statements, CPLAs, etc.).
  • Skilled in drafting/vetting agreements, contracts, and MOUs.
  • Strong knowledge of the Constitution of Pakistan and general/procedural laws.
  • Knowledge of court procedures and case management.
  • Strong negotiation skills for dispute resolution/ADR.
• Note: Expertise in Federal and Provincial fiscal laws is an added advantage.

Terms and Conditions

1. Nature of Job: Full-time, purely temporary contract for one year (extendable, but will not be regularized).
2. Posting: Anywhere in Sindh, but primarily Karachi.
3. Government Employees: Must apply through the proper channel.
4. Selection: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the criteria will be called for tests/interviews.
5. No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for interviews.
