HIRING OF STAFF AT PLRA

Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) requires staff to fill the vacancies of professional staff on contract basis for the period of three years which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of the Authority.

General Terms & Conditions:

1. All positions are contract-based for a period of three years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of the Authority.
2. Candidates must have a domicile of Punjab.
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
5. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.
6. The Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies at any stage. 
7. The Authority reserves the right to reject any application at any stage without assigning any reason.
8. Candidates must apply separately for each position.
9. Last date for submission of application is 30.01.2025.

Information Technology

1. Project Director (Information Technology)

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the following areas: Managing large-scale IT projects, Software Development, Database Management, Network Administration, Cloud Computing, Data Storage, Cyber Security. Experience in leading IT teams, managing vendor relationships, and implementing IT strategies. Experience in designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions. Experience in managing IT infrastructure, data centers, and networks. Experience in IT project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, PMP.
• Certification: Relevant certifications in Project Management, IT Service Management, or Cyber Security are preferred.

2. Deputy Director (Information Technology)

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in the following areas: Managing IT projects, Software Development, Database Management, Network Administration, Cloud Computing, Data Storage, Cyber Security. Experience in leading IT teams, managing vendor relationships, and implementing IT strategies. Experience in designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions. Experience in managing IT infrastructure, data centers, and networks. Experience in IT project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, PMP.
• Certification: Relevant certifications in Project Management, IT Service Management, or Cyber Security are preferred.

3. Project Manager (Technical)

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the following areas: Leading technical teams, managing software development projects, database management, network administration, cloud computing, data storage, cyber security. Experience in designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions. Experience in managing IT infrastructure, data centers, and networks. Experience in IT project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, PMP.
• Certification: Relevant certifications in Project Management, IT Service Management, or Cyber Security are preferred.

4. Network Administrator

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in managing and maintaining computer networks, including hardware, software, security, and troubleshooting. Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
• Certification: Relevant certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.

5. Database Administrator

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in managing and maintaining databases, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Experience with database systems like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Certification: Relevant certifications like MCSA, Oracle Certified Professional, or equivalent are preferred.

6. Software Engineer

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. Experience with programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with web development frameworks like, Spring, or Node.js.
• Certification: Relevant certifications are preferred.

Software Development

7. Senior Software Engineer

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. Experience with programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with web development frameworks like, Spring, or Node.js. Experience in leading software development teams and mentoring junior developers.
• Certification: Relevant certifications are preferred.

8. Quality Assurance Engineer

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. Experience with test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management. Experience with automated testing tools.
• Certification: Relevant certifications like ISTQB are preferred.

Other Positions

9. Project Coordinator

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and communication. Experience in supporting project managers and teams.
• Certification: Relevant certifications in Project Management are preferred.

10. Research Associate

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant field like Social Sciences, Economics, or Public Policy.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in research, including data collection, analysis, and report writing. Experience with research methodologies and statistical tools.
• Certification: Relevant certifications are preferred.
