The Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), an autonomous body under the Government of the Punjab, leads innovative social protection initiatives aimed at uplifting vulnerable communities across the province. At the core of this transformation is the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER); a flagship initiative funded under the Government of the Punjab's Annual Development Programme (ADP). PSER is designed to develop a comprehensive, data-driven system that serves as an integrated decision-support platform for policy formulation and development planning.
The Deputy Project Director (DPD) will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely and effective delivery. The role includes managing risks, coordinating with stakeholders, overseeing reporting, and supporting operational processes, capacity-building, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills, proficiency in project management tools, excellent communication, and sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with knowledge of government procedures and development sector operations.

Qualification: At least, Master's degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Social Policy, Demographic Studies, Data Science, Computer Science / Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications in Project Management will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with Government (preferably Govt. of the Punjab) structures, operations, administrative systems and operational procedures is mandatory. Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in operational management of large-scale projects, preferably of social sector. Minimum 10 years' experience in middle or senior-level management positions. Experience of working with government agencies is highly desirable. Skills: Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in Project Management Tools and relevant IT skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. |
