Advertisement for Temporary / Seasonal Work Charge Recruitment
The Irrigation Department, Sukkur Oorange Division Sahiwal, requires applications on plain paper for driver positions on a work-charge basis for the financial year 2025-2026 according to departmental rules and regulations. Candidates must have an LTV driving license with 3 years of experience, minimum middle pass education, and age limit 22 to 35 years.
- Hiring for the positions will be done on merit as per instructions issued by the Secretary Irrigation Sahib, letter no. SO(E)III-6/2021-1118 dated 20.01.2022.
- Hiring for the positions will be purely on a temporary basis for a maximum period of (89 days). However, the department may extend the duration periodically as per its need.
- The number of aforementioned positions will depend on the approval of the competent authority, which may be increased or decreased as needed.
- Salary payment will be according to the Schedule of Wages issued by the Government of Punjab.
- Interested and eligible candidates should submit applications to the Divisional Office Sukkur Oorange Division Sahiwal by 12.12.2025.
- Certified copies of ID card, domicile, qualification, experience certificates, and 2 passport-size photographs must be attached with the applications.
- Candidates' test and interview will be held on 16.12.2025 at this office. All candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.
- The candidate must be a resident within the jurisdiction of Sukkur Oorange Division Sahiwal.
- Hiring orders will be issued for a specific duration upon availability of funds after approval from the competent authority as needed.
- Work-charge employees can be dismissed from service at any time without any notice or reason. They will have no right to appeal against this decision in any court or institution, nor will work-charge employees have any entitlement to be regularized based on their services.
