Note:
i. Candidates applying for above mentioned discipline(s) will also submit a copy of registration certificate from Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)/Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners (PCATP) respectively, along with their applications.
ii. The foreign qualified candidates should attach Foreign Degree Equivalence Certificate from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) OR Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
iii. In case a candidate claims that his/her qualification is equivalent/relevant to the prescribed qualification, he/she will be required to submit equivalence/relevance certificate of his/her foreign/local qualification, issued by the Competent Authority of HEC/PNC/PEC/PCATP or Administrative Department concerned, evaluated for consideration or otherwise which will be accepted by the University at the time of scrutiny. If a candidate fails to submit Equivalence/relevance Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, his/her candidature shall be deemed stand to cancelled.
iv. In case, degree has not been issued, a Certificate/Notification to that effect signed by the Controller of Examinations (only) of degree awarding University/Institute might be accepted. In all cases, statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employer(s) concerned.
v. All Quotas shall be observed as per relevant rules.
How to apply:
i. All candidates should apply online through IUB website till 26.03.2026, i.e., last date for submission of online applications, followed by submission of 03 complete sets of applications for the post of Assistant Professor and 02 sets for the post of Lecturer bearing attested copies of degrees, certificates, one latest passport size photograph for each set and one copy of the online paid fee challan (non-refundable) generated by online job application system amounting of Rs. 3,000/- for the post of Assistant Professor and Rs. 1,500/- for the post of Lecturer, via Registered Mail through Pakistan Post/Courier Service, to the following address:

ii. Hard copies of the online application form alongwith all requisite documents should reach latest by 30.03.2026 i.e. three days after the closing date of online applications.
iii. Candidates should fill in online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on the Islamia University of Bahawalpur website. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till the last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than the ONLINE will not be accepted.
iv. Candidates applying for more than one post shall have to submit separate application, as well as separate paid online application processing fee.
v. IUB employees willing to apply are directed to submit their hard copy of online application form alongwith all requisite documents as mention by the due date, through proper channel.
vi. Candidates already in service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous body must submit a copy of NOC alongwith online application form by the due date, otherwise their applications shall not be entertained and advance copy of application will not be entertained.
vii. Age relaxation may be considered as per IUB Teachers (Appointment & Special conditions of Service) Statutes, 1977.
viii. Applications will be received only through registered mail/courier service and that by hand application will not be accepted.
ix. Applications are directed to clearly mention the name of the post applied for, and mode of appointment on the top right corner of the envelope.
x. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
The University reserves the rights:
i. To get an affidavit with any advertised post/withhold the appointment against any post, without assigning any reason thereof or consider a person for appointment in a lower cadre against the post advertised.
ii. To increase or decrease the number of seats on academic qualification and experience. Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
iii. To increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per availability of funds.
iv. The University is not responsible if call letters are not delivered due to any lapse of Courier Agency/Post Office/Telephonic Message or call.
v. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
vi. The advertised posts may be filled subject to approval of the Competent Authority.
