How to Apply?
- Eligibility criteria include:
- Being a full professor with a Ph.D. from a recognized HEC university, with at least 20 years of experience, including 10 years in administrative, financial, or academic positions such as Vice Chancellor, Rector, or Dean.
- Alternatively, a BPS-21 cadre officer with a Master's Degree from an HEC-recognized university is eligible.
- Candidates with a Master's degree, preferably a Ph.D., and 15 years of experience in academia, research, or management leadership, along with a strong publication record (minimum 10 publications in HEC-recognized journals), are also eligible.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 62 years on the last date of application.
- Cadre officers selected as Vice Chancellor will need to resign or retire from their respective cadre service.
- Responsibilities of the Vice Chancellor include:
- Promoting quality education.
- Fostering research and development projects.
- Establishing national and international collaborations.
- Developing sustainable business models.
- Gathering and analyzing data for policy-making.
- Required skills include analytical and critical thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, along with understanding financial matters.
