The Department of Polymer and Process Engineering, UET Lahore is looking for suitable individuals for the following positions on its Polymer Chair on Sustainability and Circularity.

|
PhD in Polymer/Materials/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Technology from a HEC Recognized university with minimum 8 years of research and/or industrial experience in polymer processing, polymer materials and products development and plastic sustainability/circularity or equivalent. OR MS/MSc Polymer/Materials/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Technology from a HEC Recognized university with minimum 10 years' experience in polymer processing industry or equivalent.

Max. 65 years

Minimum 8 research publications in HEC Recognized journals.
|
• Salary: Rs. 450,000/- per month, all incl.<br>• Performance-based annual increments will be granted.<br>• Initial one year contract extendable up to 3 years maximum based on satisfactory performance

Research Associate and Technical Support Staff
|

|
Minimum undergraduate degree in Polymer/Materials/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with minimum CGPA 3.0 or 70% in BS/BSc Engineering.

• Salary: Rs. 80,000/- per month, all incl.<br>• Performance based annual increments<br>• Initial one year contract extendable up to 3 years maximum based on satisfactory performance

Technical Support Staff
|
FSC or DAE (1st Div) in Chemical/Mechanical with minimum 6 years industrial experience in polymer processing industry OR Matric (1st Div) with minimum 8 years industrial experience in polymer processing industry<br>Must have expertise to operate and maintain polymer processing equipment such as extruder/injection molding/blow molding/blown film/calendar etc.

• Salary: Rs. 70,000/- per month, all incl.<br>• Performance based annual increments<br>• Initial one year contract extendable up to 3 years maximum based on satisfactory performance
