**Qualification:<br>Master's Degree (16 years education) in Finance/Accounts/Commerce/Business Administration or Chartered Accountant/ACMA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent from HEC recognized University/Institution.<br>Experience:<br>Minimum 17 years post-qualification experience in a relevant field in a public/private sector organization of repute.<br>OR<br>Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in a relevant field in a public/private sector organization of repute with 5 years experience in a senior management position.<br>Responsibilities:**<br>1. Manage and oversee all financial affairs of the University, including budgeting, accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.<br>2. Develop and present annual budgets to the Syndicate and HEC/Government guidelines.<br>3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies of the University, HEC, and Government.<br>4. Supervise the maintenance of financial records and preparation of financial statements.<br>5. Oversee the University's financial management and ensure compliance with relevant financial rules, regulations, and policies.<br>6. Maintain and control expenditures to ensure optimal use of financial resources and prevent irregularities/misuse of funds.<br>7. Implement internal financial controls, respond to audit queries, and implement audit recommendations.<br>8. Manage the University's investments and ensure their growth and financial stability.<br>9. Develop, review, and implement financial policies and procedures.<br>10. Provide financial advice to the Vice Chancellor and other University officials.<br>11. Lead and manage the Finance Department, including its staff and operations.<br>12. Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders on financial matters.<br>13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice Chancellor or Syndicate.

Facilitate faculty and researchers in seeking research grants and funding from HEC and other funding agencies.<br>2. Identify research with commercialization potential and support patent filing and technology licensing.<br>3. Manage and administer intellectual property rights of the University and its researchers.<br>4. Develop and manage research collaborations with industry and other organizations.<br>5. Promote a culture of research and innovation within the University.<br>6. Organize research workshops, seminars, and conferences.<br>7. Prepare and submit reports on ORIC activities to the Vice Chancellor and HEC.<br>8. Represent the University in national and international forums on research, innovation, and commercialization.<br>9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice Chancellor.
