How to Apply?
- The Government of Balochistan, Colleges, Higher & Technical Education Department, is searching for individuals of exceptional Integrity, Humility and Intellectual vision for the position of Vice Chancellor of University of Makuran at Punjgur, possessing the required qualification and experience as under: Essential Qualification & Experience: (a) Qualification: For a comprehensive university,
- PhD in any discipline and good academic record. (b) Research: Excellent research publication record that, at a minimum, meet the criteria for appointment as a Professor in the university with a minimum of 20 peer reviewed HEC recognized publications. Preference would be given to journals indexed in the HRJS system of HEC (https://hjrs.hec.gov.pk) (c) Experience: Experience of at least 20 years of teaching/research in any HEC-recognized university. At least five years of administrative experience (after completion of PhD) in the field of higher education.
- The candidates with experience of executing research projects, senior supervisory / leadership, including the Chairperson, Dean, Pro-VC, quality assurance,
- international linkages etc., with a record of progressive responsibility and authority. (d) A separate strategic plan not more than 800 words for the institution for which they apply be attached with the application. Note: Women are encouraged to apply. Terms & Conditions (a). Tenure: Three years (Non-renewable) as per provisions of the Balochistan Universities Act 2022 (b). Age: Not more than (65) sixty-five years till the closing date of submission of applications; (c). Pay Package HEC approved pay package

- Procedure: (a) Applications will be considered only for the desired University; (b) The Search Committee will shortlist the eligible candidates in preview of Qualification and experiences (c) The Search Committee shall have the mandate to search and head hunt persons
