Director, Safety & Security
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate all safety and security operations across AKU Pakistan, fostering a resilient, protected, and compliant environment. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership, proactive risk mitigation, and timely guidance on emerging challenges. The incumbent will also cultivate trusted relationships with key government officials and support regional safety & security teams by providing risk-based technical expertise and ensuring the effective delivery of essential services.
Based in Karachi, this role provides strategic direction for AKU Pakistan's safety and security framework and strengthens institutional preparedness. The successful candidate will oversee operational performance, guide emergency readiness efforts, and support major initiatives that enhance long-term resilience. The role also focuses on building capable teams, promoting strong partnerships, and enabling a secure and future-ready environment for all AKU sites.
