Ayub Medical College Abbottabad is an Autonomous Medical Teaching Institution with a Board of Governors as prescribed by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act 2015 and amendments thereto. 2. FACULTY POSITIONS

NOTE: • Candidates must have completed Home Job/year before the closing date of applications. • Applicants holding only provisional PMDC registration shall not be eligible. • Postgraduate Trainees (PGRs)/TMOs in Clinical Specialties, including those undergoing FCPS-II training, are not eligible to apply.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

• All Shortlisting will be done based on educational qualifications and relevant experience as per Bog AMTI approved criteria. • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. • A minimum of 70 percent will be passing interview marks as approved by the competent authority. • Average aggregate of interview marks will be considered. • Chairman committee will ensure that all members of the committee are well conversant with the marking system and marks are awarded without bias. • Government, Semi Government, Autonomous Body or Private Medical College employee must submit NOC from the concerned department. • The selection committee will recommend names to the competent authority MTI ATH/AMC/ACD as per order of merit including pre-interview and interview marks. • The competent authority shall then issue offer letters to the recommended candidates.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: HOW TO APPLY:

• Application is acceptable only on a prescribed performa available on official website of Ayub Medical College (AMTI) (www.ayubmed.edu.pk) or Ayub Teaching Hospital (AMTI) (www.ath.gov.pk).

• Applications should be submitted electronically by completing all documents in a single PDF through Google form email senior-manager.hr@ayubmed.edu.pk. It is a required format for file format/subject label each apply application form.

• Appointment on the above positions shall be made on Institutional Pay Scale (IPS) under the MTI ATH/AMC/ACD Uniform Contract Policy (December 2025), with Contributory Provident Fund (CPF), and shall be governed by the MTI Act, 2015, Policy Board Regulations, 2025, and other applicable policies and amendments, subject to annual performance evaluation (PERs).

• All the educational documents & experience certificates shall be verified during the process of scrutiny/short listing and in case of fake/unverified documents, the candidate will be disqualified and proceeded against as per law.

• Applications accompanied by a duly completed Online Job Application Form, covering letter, detailed CV, attested photocopies of all educational documents, experience certificates, valid professional registration certificates (where applicable), CNIC, domicile certificate, NOC (where applicable), four (04) recent passport-size photographs with a white background, and the original bank deposit slip/bank draft of the prescribed non-refundable processing fee, must be submitted through the prescribed Online Job Application Portal. Detail of payment are as follows:

• Candidates must retain the original candidate copy of the deposit slip, bearing the bank's stamp, and shall not share it with anyone.

• All electronic/scanned documents uploaded must be clearly legible. Any blurred, unreadable or improperly scanned documents will result in rejection of the upload, the same shall be submitted through the designated e-mail address in a single PDF file. Candidates must ensure that all professional registrations/licences remain valid on the closing date of applications, expired registrations/licences shall not be accepted. A copy/screenshot of the successfully submitted online application must be attached with the hard-copy application. In addition, a complete hard-copy application package, containing all requisite documents, must be sent through registered courier service to the Office of the Senior Manager HR Ayub Medical College Abbottabad within 05 days given below. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Shortlisted candidates will receive communication after receipt of the requisite hard-copy documents within the prescribed deadline.

• The candidate must be in a good standing with his/her employers (attach reference letter from current employer and at least one other reference letter). Names of three referees must be provided in the application form.

• Character verification and background checks of the selected candidate shall be conducted; in case of any adverse report or criminal record, the selection shall stand cancelled or withdrawn.

• The appointee shall be on probation for one (01) year, during which the contract may be terminated without notice, and without assigning any reason.

• The Selection Committee will evaluate applicants and determine the most suitable position (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) commensurate with their qualifications and experience, in accordance with Policy Board directives.

• Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel with valid NOC and, if selected, shall resign from service. Civil servants, including those on long leave, must resign from civil service, failure to secure acceptance of resignation within the probation period will result in termination of MTI employment. No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.

• Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.

• Experience shall be from FBR approved hospitals/institutions/firms/organizations.

• PMDC eligibility certificate is mandatory to be submitted with the application form.

• The Board of Governors, MTI ATH/AMC/ACD, reserves the right to differ appointment at an appropriate faculty rank commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, merit, and institutional requirements, or to leave any advertised position unfilled if no suitable candidate is available.
