Vacant Positions
Applications are invited from eligible candidates (residents of Kohistan Forest Division) for the following permanent positions:
- Post Name: Forest Guard (BPS-08)
- Total Vacancies: 07
- Patrak Forest Sub-Division (Sheringal Range): 04 (30%)
- Sheringal Forest Range (Residents): 01 (30%)
- Kalkot Forest Range (Residents): 02 (30%)
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
- Educational Qualification: Intermediate (Science/Pre-Engineering/Pre-Medical) from a recognized board.
- Physical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches
- Chest: 32-34 inches
- Fitness: 3 km run in 15 minutes.
- Health: Must be medically fit.
Important Terms & Conditions
- ETEA Testing: Selection will be based on physical and screening tests conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).
- Residency: Only candidates with a domicile from the Kohistan Forest Division (Sheringal/Kalkot) are eligible.
- Quotas: 5% of seats are reserved for minorities and 70% for the general merit of the specific sub-division.
- Training: Selected candidates must undergo mandatory training at the Forest School in Thai, Abbottabad.
- Bond: Candidates must sign a bond to serve for at least 5 years; otherwise, they must refund training expenses.
