Advertisement for the Requirement of Drivers and Sewer Men (Work Charge)
According to the letter no. SO.ADMN-III(LG)Misc (Machinery) 2025/02.12.2025 of the Government of Punjab Local Government & Community Development Department Lahore, the District Council Lodhran requires drivers and sewer men on a work-charge basis according to the following terms and conditions. Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for this purpose.

Terms and Conditions
- Drivers and sewer men will be temporarily appointed on a work-charge basis for the period specified by the government. The duration of appointment will be mentioned in the appointment letter. Upon completion of the period, their temporary appointment will automatically end. No separate notification will be issued for this purpose. Wages will be paid according to the rates set by the Government of Punjab based on work done.
- The candidate's domicile must be the district of Lodhran; however, local candidates will be preferred for those appointed in the tehsils of Kahror Pakka and Dunyapur.
- It is necessary to attach 2 passport-size photographs along with copies of the ID card and qualification certificates according to the required post with the application.
- It is necessary for the candidate to be healthy and physically fit. Experienced individuals who have previously performed this type of duty and whose performance has been good will be preferred.
- The decision of the selection committee will be final and cannot be challenged in any forum or court.
- No separate call or letter will be issued for the interview and physical test. Original documents must be brought at the time of the interview and physical test.
- A complete application in all respects must be submitted to the office of the District Officer (I&S) District Council Lodhran via mail or by hand by 20-02-2026. Applications received after the due time will be considered rejected.
- The interview and physical test will be held on 24-02-2026 at 12:00 PM in the office of the District Council Lodhran, for which no separate letter will be issued and no TA/DA will be given for this purpose.
- A list will be compiled based on the received applications, which will be valid for one year. Temporary appointments will continue to be made from this list on a temporary basis according to the instructions received from the government.
- Age relaxation will be according to the prevailing policy of the Government of Punjab.
- Other information etc. can be obtained from the District Officer (I&S) District Council Lodhran during office hours.
