Terms and Conditions:
(1) The prescribed application form can be obtained from this office or downloaded from the Facebook page of District Courts Upper Chitral. However, candidates can also prepare their own application forms and submit them. A character certificate from respectable individuals (who are not relatives) must also be attached with the application. (2) Applicants must belong to District Upper Chitral (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and be permanent residents. Every applicant must provide their contact number on their application for WhatsApp/SMS. (3) Attested copies of relevant educational certificates/degrees and National Identity Card must be attached with the application, along with a character certificate issued by the last educational institution. Original documents must be presented at the time of test/interview. Otherwise, candidates will not be eligible to participate in the test/interview. (4) Considering the number of candidates, the venue for the test/interview will be selected and candidates will be informed through notices (to be displayed on the court's notice board) and through the court's Facebook page. (5) Considering the number of candidates, a screening test may be conducted, followed by a skill test, and then a written test and interview for successful candidates. (6) The date for the test/interview will be announced later and displayed on the notice board and informed through the court's Facebook page. (7) Government employees must apply through proper channel (NOC). (8) Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be considered or processed. (9) No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview. (10) Married women who are not already in government service and whose husbands hold domicile of District Upper Chitral are also eligible to apply. However, women who are already in government service and do not hold domicile of District Upper Chitral are not eligible based solely on their husband's domicile of District Upper Chitral. (11) Age relaxation will be granted according to the prevailing rules of the provincial government of 2008. (12) All candidates for serial numbers 1 to 6 must have their original documents verified by the District Scrutiny Committee (DSC) at the time of interview. (13) Candidates belonging to scheduled castes, minorities, and women will be considered as per the reserved quota. (14) The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason. (15) Only candidates who qualify the test will be called for interview. (16) The department reserves the right to change the standard touch typing (typing with 10 fingers) for Steno Typist (BPS-14). (17) Typing speed for Steno Typist (BPS-14) is 50 words per minute in shorthand and 35 words per minute in English.
