VACANT POSITIONS

Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in the Sindh province for the following positions in the Narcotics Control Wing of the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, Government of Sindh, according to the qualifications and experience mentioned against each position, within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

(ii) Male: Minimum height 5' 5" and chest measurement minimum 33" with 1.5" expansion. One mile walk in 8 minutes. Female: Minimum height 5' 2" and 800 meter walk in 14 minutes.
2	Data Processing Officer	16	14	21-28	(i) Bachelor's degree (at least second division) from a university recognized by HEC. (ii) Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) in Computer Science and English typing speed of 40 words per minute from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).
3	Junior Scale Stenographer	14	10	21-28	(i) Bachelor's degree (at least second division) from a university recognized by HEC. (ii) Certificate in English shorthand and typing from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE). Shorthand speed of 120 words per minute and English typing speed of 45 words per minute on computer. (iii) Certificate in MS Office from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).
4	Computer Operator	12	13	21-28	(i) Bachelor's degree (at least second division) from a university recognized by HEC. (ii) Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) in Computer Science and English typing speed of 30 words per minute from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).
5	Junior Clerk	11	30	18-28	(i) Bachelor's degree (at least second division) from a university recognized by HEC. (ii) 6-month certificate in MS Office from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) / recognized testing board.
6	Assistant Narcotics Control Officer	11	30	21-28	(i) Bachelor's degree (at least second division) or equivalent CGPA from a university recognized by HEC. (ii) Male: Minimum height 5' 5" and chest measurement minimum 33" with 1.5" expansion. One mile walk in 8 minutes. Female: Minimum height 5' 2" and 800 meter walk in 14 minutes.

General Instructions/Information:

1. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria should apply for the above positions on the Government of Sindh job portal at http://jobs.sindh.gov.pk.
2. Candidates must have successfully passed the general screening test for the relevant category conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) with a minimum of 40% marks and hold a certificate issued by them.
3. Candidates already in government service should apply through the proper channel.
4. The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
