OPPORTUNITIES

With reference to the advertisement issued by Finance Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for various positions in Fund Support Unit (FSU), vide INF (P:3264/25) titled "OPPORTUNITIES" published in various newspapers on 26.07.2025, applications are re-invited from suitable candidates for the following positions, purely on contract basis initially for a period of one year, for the Fund Support Unit (FSU) and Corporate Governance Unit (CGU) in Finance Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Provincial Government Market Based Salary (MBS) Policy.

A track record of outstanding achievement that is demonstrable and verifiable, including the experience of leading teams of people successfully. <br> iii. Minimum of sixteen years of formal education from a reputable local or international institution in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Commerce and MS-IT; or CFA/FRM/ACCA/CA. <br> iv. Applicants can have relevant experience in the public, private or development sectors, or a combination of all.

Financial Management Expert

MBS-II

I. Minimum Qualifications & Certification <br> i. Minimum 16 years of education in Finance/Business Administration/ Accounting/Public Financial Management/CA/ACCA/ ACMA/ICAEW/ICFA/ CPA or equivalent relevant degree from a reputed Foreign University or HEC recognized institutions. <br> ii. Additional certifications in Corporate Governance would be an advantage. <br> II. Professional Experience <br> i. At least 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a public or private sector organization. <br> ii. Experience working with or knowledge of Public Sector Entities (PSEs) and Autonomous bodies and understanding of the provincial Public Finance Management Acts, other relevant provincial corporate governance, financial policies, rules and regulations would be an advantage.

i. Minimum of Five (05) years of relevant professional experience in investment management, fund management, corporate finance, capital markets, asset management companies or Non-Banking Financial Institutions. <br> ii. A track record of outstanding achievement that is demonstrable and verifiable. Leadership experience will be a plus. <br> iii. Minimum of sixteen years of formal education from a reputable local or international institution in Business Administration (Finance) & Masters Economics; or CFA/ACCA/CA. <br> iv. Applicants can have relevant experience in the public, private or development sectors, or a combination of all.

i. A track record of outstanding achievement that is demonstrable and verifiable (graduates with no experience will be hired on the basis of their academic distinction). <br> ii. Minimum of sixteen years of formal education from a reputable local or international institution in Business Administration/ Data Science/ Computer Science/ IT. <br> iii. Applicants can have relevant experience in the public, private or development sectors, or a combination of all.

The recruitment procedure will be based on the following selection criteria:
Stage 1: Application/ CV Review: All applications will be shortlisted based upon the academic credentials, quality of experience, and track record as per the requirements of the position.
Stage 2: Written Test: All candidates shortlisted will go through a written test which includes GRE and Technical/Case Studies. Those who will secure skills as per the requirements will be included in a panel interview. The written test will be designed to assess the candidates' analytical and problem-solving skills and shall consist of a three member panel which will evaluate the candidates' ability for the required position.

NOTE:

  1. Applications must be on A-4 size, maximum length: three pages, legal size (8.5" x 14") including a minimum of two references, accompanied by a cover letter (maximum length three pages, legal size 8.5" x 14") that highlights the candidate's suitability for the position and how their skills and experience align with the requirements.
