Position
How to Apply?
- 1. Pursuant to the enactment of Sindh (Repeal of the Police Act, 1861 and Revival of Police Order, 2002) (Amendment) Act, 2019,
- the Government of Sindh intends to establish the Provincial Public Safety & Police Complaints Commission. As per Section 74(2)
- of the Act half of the members of the Commission would be 'Independent Members'.
- 2. Applications are hereby invited for the positions of Independent Members of Provincial Public Safety and Police Complaint
- Commission from interested candidates meeting the following criteria:-
- The Candidate:
- 1) Shall have impeccable integrity.
- 2) Shall have proven professional competence in such fields as social work, law, administration, education, corporate sector
- and other professional fields.
- 3) Shall be resident of Sindh Province.
- 3. Candidates are advised to read Section 79 of the Act to learn about disqualifications before applying. The Act may be accessed
- at www.home.sindh.gov.pk
- 4. The interested candidates may send their detailed CVs with a covering letter addressed to the Chairperson of the Selection
- Panel, describing their vision to contribute in functions of the Commission according to the Act.
