Position
- Project Director
- Location: Karachi, Sindh
- Job Status: Contract (two years, extendable)
- Salary: Competitive, market-based
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant fields (Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Law, etc.) with at least 16 years of education.
- Experience: Experience in mega projects is an advantage.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic oversight of the Karachi Safe City Project.
- Liaison and communication with stakeholders.
- Project management and leadership.
- Quality and cost control.
- Risk management.
- Reporting and documentation.
- Preparation of PC-I/II documents.
- Conflict management.
- Supervision of installation and commissioning.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and best practices.
- Presentations and briefings.
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public sector or project management, focusing on security framework implementation.
- Familiarity with smart city and safe city projects.
- Experience in overseeing mega projects.
- Specialized Skills:
- Leadership, team-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of government rules and procurement regulations.
