Vacancy for Legal Consultant / Expert
Applications are invited from suitable candidates on the prescribed proforma for the position of Legal Consultant on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years, extendable upon satisfactory performance, on a fixed salary in Hyderabad Water & Sewerage Corporation.

Job Description:
(a) Legal advice on all constitutional and legal matters. (b) Filing petitions for the protection of the Corporation's interests. (c) All types of activities and work related to the judiciary; and (d) Any other legal work assigned by the Corporation.
Disqualification:
A person shall not be eligible for appointment as a Legal Consultant if: (a) He/she has been dismissed from service as a result of disciplinary proceedings. (b) Applicants for the position of Legal Consultant must submit an affidavit confirming that they are not involved in any other related business or employment that would constitute a conflict of interest. (c) Persons who have been removed from government service due to unsatisfactory performance or involvement in ethical and financial irregularities will not be eligible to apply for the said position. (d) All individuals applying for the position must submit an affidavit stating that they have not been removed from government, semi-government, or any organization based on unsatisfactory performance, as stated in clause (b) herein. (e) He/she has been convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction for involvement in moral turpitude.
Conflict of Interest:
(a) The candidate for appointment as Legal Expert must retire from their current department or position, and their appointment will be subject to the acceptance of their resignation by the competent authority. During their employment period, they shall not engage in any other employment or business (personal, vacation, or employment) that directly or indirectly affects their performance as a Legal Consultant. (b) The candidate must submit an affidavit to HW&SC stating that they are not involved in any other related business or employment that could be considered a conflict of interest.
Termination of Contract:
The Legal Consultant's contract can be terminated upon completion of the term or by giving one month's notice.
Applicability of Other Laws:
In matters not covered herein, the rules and regulations applicable to civil servants shall apply.
