Position: Shift Control Engineer

Qualifications
- BS Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: Minimum 03 years of experience in power plant operations.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of plant systems (generators, turbines, GIS, Power Transformers, EDGs) through both automated and manual operation.
- Skills: Experience in controlling plant operations via SCADA, recording data, and handling declarations (DAC/RDAC and PTW).
- Safety: Must be well-versed in safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (e.g., LOTO procedures).
Main Duties
- Supervise, monitor, and operate the complex via SCADA reliably and efficiently.
- Maintain liaison with grid stations (132kV Dadyal & Kotli) for switching operations and plant status.
- Assist the Shift Charge Engineer during emergencies and system restorations (blackouts).
- Identify and report plant defects to the maintenance department.
- Prepare daily operational logs and reports (generation, tripping, DIR/IIR) for NPCC.
- Ensure operations remain within technical limits as per SOP/PPA.
