Our client, Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO), a publicly listed company operating a 1600 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in District Kot Addu, Punjab, of which 500 MW is currently operational, is seeking to appoint high-caliber professionals to reinforce its core management team with a view to meeting evolving business challenges and supporting its strategic initiatives. Applications are invited for the following senior management positions:
Company Secretary
Position Profile: The Company Secretary, based at the Corporate Office in Lahore, will be responsible for ensuring effective corporate governance and regulatory compliance. The key job responsibilities include organizing Board, Committee, and General Meetings, managing legal and regulatory affairs, overseeing contract reviews and negotiations, maintaining statutory records, and supporting the Board in governance-related matters for a publicly listed company.
Eligibility Criteria: The ideal candidate must be a member of a recognized professional body of Accountants or Corporate/Chartered Secretaries, or hold a Law degree/MBA/ (HEC recognized), with a minimum of 15 years of experience, including 5 years as Company Secretary in a listed company. A strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks is essential. Minimum age requirement is 40 years.
Head of Internal Audit
Position Profile: The Head of Internal Audit, based at the KAPCO Plant, will lead the internal audit function, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and professional standards. The key job responsibilities include developing and executing audit strategy and annual plans, conducting risk assessments, reporting to the Board Audit Committee, coordinating with external auditors and regulators, and leading the audit team.
Eligibility Criteria: The ideal candidate must hold a CA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent qualification from a recognized professional body, with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience, including 5 years in a senior audit or risk management role within a publicly listed or a regulated entity, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector. Minimum age requirement is 40 years.
